For those of you who do not know, Porch Light is the AMAZING shop where i work. If you have not been there PLEASE come check out all the vintage gems this amazing little place has to offer. Shop owner Keiran Best has impeccable taste, therefore, having my paintings hanging in her store is quite the compliment. So, come check out the fun stuff at Porch Light and see my paintings! Remember…it could be you or or your cute little kid on that canvas! Anything is possible, I can paint it! I promise!

Thanks for taking the time to check out my website! My name is Erika 5. I am an artist living in Portland, Oregon. Art has always been my passion. As a kid, it was the one thing that gave me confidence. Art was something I could just DO. I graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Fine Art. My emphasis was in ceramics. School meant getting dirty, playing with fire, and making anything my imagination could come up with. For me, college was perfect. After moving to Portland I rediscovered my love for painting. My recent work has been some of my favorite. It combines several things I love, vintage style, portraiture, and detail. The figure has been a central theme in my work. I just LOVE capturing someone’s face on canvas or clay. Combining this with vintage style, I feel I have stumbled across something I have fun creating, am hopeful that my creation is something people enjoy. Maybe some of you will enjoy my work SO much that you’ll feel the need to capture someone you love in one of my paintings. Either way, I love what I’m doing and I hope you all do too!
Thanks!
